Purposes
The purposes of the Senni valley website
http://senni.org.uk/ are
- to give local people in the
upland farming community of the Senni valley, Powys, access to information on
internet that could be useful to them in their daily lives, including their
working environment, and social and leisure activities. The target individual is
someone who has just arrived in the community and who wants to know what there
is here, how it works and how to contribute to and make best use of the skills
of people here and the resources in the neighbourhood.
- to guide visitors to this central
area of the Brecon Beacons National Park and those who wish to learn more about
this community.
- to become, in the longer term, a digital archive with
cultural, historical and academic value as part of the 'Senni Archive',
especially if the 'archive' element includes information to be added to the web.
