Flowers
- A wide range of flowering plants have been recorded in the Senni Valley
and it's protected areas.
- Purple saxifrage Saxifraga oppositifolia, an arctic-alpine
plant, is found on high shady cliffs in the
Craig Cerrig Gleisiad National
Nature Reserve, surviving far
south since the end of the last ice age. It's presence is being used as an
indicator of climate change.
