There are military training areas to the north of Senni Valley in the Epynt.

• Sennybridge Training Camp
• Special Air Service

The Ministry of Defence carries out low flying exercises over the Sennybridge area, which is classified as a 'Tactical Training Area' where aircraft can fly as low as 100 feet. The dates and times for these are published in local newspapers, such as the Brecon & Radnor Express.
