• Brecknock Wildlife Trust manages 19 nature reserves covering over 250 hectares within 30 miles of Brecon. It organizes conservation work, local lectures and events and carries out wildlife projects and education at all levels. The closest reserves to Senni Valley that they manage are, using OS sheet 160, are (1) Coed Dyrysiog SN 980 310 (2) Llandefaelog Wood SN 029 322  and (3) Daudraeth Illtyd SN 967 256. They have a printed booklet with details of all 19 sites.
• Brecon Beacons Park Society works with the Authority since 1992, organizing walks and events.
